As you enter the island of Leukada by car from the mainland the town’s peripheral road crosses through the main marina channel, one of the biggest passages of the Ionian Sea which connects the 7 major islands and the smaller ones by boats. The Bohemian Cottage is located just 5' away from where the road ends, in a village called Kalligoni. The property rests between the two main coast lines that run along the island towards the left and the right side respectively. The village is in the middle of the two directions and our location is right next to all the local super markets.
Walking Distance to Lefkada Town
2Km away from the house, you can visit the town of Lefkada with its beautiful alleys and its old traditional settlements, the bars, the restaurants and the main bazaar offers an interesting stroll for the evening hours.
Close to Public Transport, Boat Hire & Nidri Village
In addition to the above, whenever you feel like moving around the island or the nearby small islands and coasts as one day trip, the public bus station and both of the marinas, that of the town or to Nidri village, are very close to the premises of the cottage and are 10 to 20 min. away by car or by bike where visitors may rent. The owners are available to help you with your transportation.
